   First question problem:
   I have been un able to get ps to report anything meaningful since the kernel
   changes.  I have rebuilt the world.  Should the world be rebuilt differntly
   than normal??

You have to:

1) Install the -current include files.
2) Rebuild libkvm.
3) Rebuild ps.

I'm fairly certain you haven't done things in that order.
