this should be on port-sparc. but anyway...

I'm sorry for posting on a mailing list which doesn't
exactly match the subject of this message. (But still
please do not move this to another mailing list without
telling me as I'm not on that other mailing list with
   a very high possibility...)

I am thinking of purchasing a SPARC clone made by Tatung.
How "Combatible" are they with NetBSD in general?

I'm thinking of COMPstation II (equivalent of SS5 I believe)
in particular. Any help is appreciated. Useful information
   is greatly appreciated. (;-)

i don't believe there would be any problem with it, given that
it was a sun4 or sun4c clone. if it's an ss5 clone, then it
won't work -- netbsd doesn't work on that at this point of time.

i've booted a netbsd kernel on a ss2 clone made by GCS here in
melbourne, and it was Just Fine, but i can't be -sure- about
other clone vendors.
