Actually, my FTP mirror of ftp.NetBSD.ORG does have ftp-mail capability.  Just
send mail to ftpmail@eecs.umich.edu with 'help' in the body of the mail for
info.  Our ftp server supports tarring and gziping a directory by adding tar.gz
to the end of the directory so you could get the NetBSD-current source
directory tar'd and gzip'd by going into NetBSD-current and 'get src.tar.gz'
