As a side note - can we please just all drop the call-out device jihad?  Greg,
you seem to be the only one who is really hot for not having call-out devices.
That's perfectly fine, but the rest of us do, and arguing about the "unix-nesh"
of them really doesn't do anyone any good.  Let's just all agree to disagree,
okay?
