I am wondering if anybody is currently working on a ISO-8859-1 CTYPE
locale for NetBSD. I have set up a NetBSD/i386 1.0 with pcvt as console
driver. For us german users it would be quite nice to have that locale
and let more etc. use it.

Is somebody working on this or should I go for it ?
I think it would be a good idea to let all non-C locales be read
in from file, so we wouldn't have to change libc-minors for
locale changes. I saw something like this in the linux-libc.
