In addition to the sparkles...

I have had NetBSD crash several times while switching from XFree to a
console window.  This has been happening off and on for several weeks.

Generally the screen will simply be corrupt with only vertical bars.
Sometimes I can switch to another console and the display will be fine but
I normally have to hard reboot.  A truly unpleasant experience once in
a while.

I am using XFree 3.1 (S3 server, Fahrenheit 1280 S3 911 video card) and
NetBSD-current.

Anyone else having problems or have a suggestion?
