:Patch For: X11R6-pl3/xc/programs/xterm
:Why: To get `+ut' and `XTerm*utmpInhibit' to work,
: Without it xterm tries to create an entry in /etc/utmp.

This is fixed in our latest beta, XFree86 3.0D. For FreeBSD 1.1.5 we
get utmp from the system header file:

/usr/include/utmp.h:#define	_PATH_UTMP	"/var/run/utmp"

% strings /usr/X11R6/bin/xterm |grep /utmp

In priciple NetBSD can do the same. Rich
