Are others having problems with getting a disklabel 
on a 3.5" floppy?

I am running with a July 2 current system and can't
seem to get a valid label out to 3.5" floppy.... 
(Attemping to make a current set of emergency boot/recovery
disks.)

This doesn't seem to be related (at least the hardware)
that floated by about on current-uesrs around 6/24...

   My current hardware configuration:
    AMI 33Mhz 486
    Tandem 3.5" floppy
    Tandem 5.25" floppy
    Floppy controller on UltraStore EDSI controller
    1542 SCSI Floppy controller disabled.
    Fuji EDSI
    IBM SCSI
