Yes, I think everyone on the list understands that the LFS is broken,
doesn't work, is kaput, hosed, busted, bug-ridden, etc, etc.

However, a couple of people have asked, and I am interested in too,
the location of information, documentation, papers, etc. on what exactly
the LFS is, how it's *supposed* to work, theory of operation, how to use
it, why to use it, etc, etc. So on that monentous day, in the hopefully not
far-flung future, when LFS *does* work, we'll be ready for it.
