What is the most likely cause of sup saying stuff like the following
instead of updating properly?  It just reports what it would receive if
it were working properly, but in fact it receives nothing. was running
sup with the "-v" option, using the same supfile that I have used
successfully in the past.

SUP Would receive new file src/sys/arch/i386/isa/mms.c
SUP Would receive new file src/sys/arch/i386/isa/npx.c
SUP Would update file src/sys/arch/i386/isa/nvram.h
SUP Would receive new file src/sys/arch/i386/isa/pccons.c
SUP Would update file src/sys/arch/i386/isa/pcvt/Doc/Acknowledgements
