Hmm, i was under the impression that as of about 4/26, UFS-related
stuff was completely happy on big-endian machines, once again...
Perhaps my thoughts were wrong.  (i've asked the person who was
responsible for setting them in order to comment...  8-)

anyway, for those of you on big-endian machines, with disks still
intact, i'd advise applying fsck -n, and perhaps gdb...

i personally have no big-endian machines to test on!  8-(
