the other day my /etc/resolv.conf "disappeared" causing name resolution
to die. i considered a transient bug but reported it nonetheless...
well i just upgraded my friends system and after basically rcping and
rebooting /etc/resolv.conf DISAPPEARED...
anyone else have this happen
