The Mach32 emulates an IBM 8514A display.  The 8514A maps some of its
registers to I/O ports 0x2e8 to 0x2ed, which overlap the I/O ports for
COM4 (0x2e8 to 0x2ef).  I can give more details if you need them.

Owners of Mach8 based cards will have the same problem, as it also
emulates an 8514A.
