I seem to be having problems with my printer lately.  The last time I used this
sucker was about four months ago.

% cat /etc/passwd > /dev/lpt0
lpt0: Device not configured

Is so...

% dmesg
...
lpt0 at isa0 port 0x378-0x37f: polled
...

devices are there, and I'm fairly certain they are correct.  (made from the
most recent MAKEDEV)

% ls -l /dev/lpt?
crw-------  1 root  wheel   16,   0 Apr  9 16:17 lpt0
crw-------  1 root  wheel   16,   1 Apr  9 16:17 lpt1
crw-------  1 root  wheel   16,   2 Apr  9 16:17 lpt2
