Since pleas for software seem to be the thing of the week [:>], 
I thought I'd add mine:

	Could someone put up for ftp/send me/whatever a copy of
	libc.so.8?? It seems that I skipped right to version 9,
	and would like to run and more importantly build X stuff,
	and Matthieu Herrb's XFree-for-off_t-widened package was
	built w/version 8 of libc. 

	Would be much appreciated...
