If your sys source files are too old, you'd probably want to clear the
old sources out before extracting new ones in their place.

Also, if you've just updated, don't forget to "make install" in
/usr/src/include and /usr/src/share/mk before doing anything else.
Finally, you will have to update and rebuild and reinstall "config"
before making a new kernel.  Don't forget to "make clean" in the
kernel compile dir before building the new kernel.
