"since i fixed the com driver"?  when do you mean?

The code changes that i've made since charles' last work on it:
	(1) moved the per-device flags field into hardware
		and software flags fields
	(2) changed the flags #defines as appropriate
		to fix (1)
	(3) added some support for two new ioctls (which aren't
		used yet)
	(4) made some changes related to MDMBUF flow control,
		that, unless you're using MDMBUF, won't be used,
		or (if you are) make the driver more usable...


On what date did you start seeing your problems?
(and why does everybody think that, when i change something,
it's significant?  's *really* scary... 8-)
