Subject: Memory leak in /usr/bin/make?

I'm in the process of doing a "make build" with the latest
sup-ped sources and noticed the following. I'm building
the libc sources and make is ~11M in size (only 4M is
resident). This information is from top.
My question, is this indicative of a memory leak in make?
[My version of make is from the ~7 Mar 94 sources]
