And possibly earlier versions had a bug that would cause the disk label
to not be read correctly on drives using a translated geometry if the
label was not at the beginning of the disk.  People who experienced
`cannot find label' messages with last night's sources should try
tonight's version.

Any other problems with it should be reported to me as usual.
