Hi,

what's the current state of the SysV shared memory facilities?  Do they
work sufficiently well for anyone to have compiled the X server with a SysV
shared memory extension, and used the resulting features?  I'm currently
toying with mpeg_play, and wonder if the shared memory extensions would
make it go any faster.  (I have a ATI Mach32 accelerator on "local bus"
(intregrated on motherboard) on my system.)
