What has changed in gcc from 0.9?
Shared library support. Not much code, but if you don't have it you
lose.
Anyway, unless someone presents a compelling technical reason why 2.5
is better than 2.4, which so far no one has been able to do, then why
would we *want* to switch? What's the point of gratuitously changing
the compiler for no reason? I've dealt with more than my share of
compiler bugs, thank you.
