My wd.c compiled just fine with the same options. My cc1 (2.4.5) had
been compiled with the same options by gcc-2.5.8 before. Don't ask me,
I know this is strange, it's just the way I did it......

Now my entire universe is compiled with '-O2 -fomit-frame-pointer -pipe'.

The kernel still runs......
