Disregard the report I made a couple of days ago about the Gateway
2000 keyboard-lockup-unless-key-hit-during-autoconfig bug going away.
When I booted NetBSD today, it locked up.  Either

1)  I pressed a key when I thought I didn't, or
2)  This is a HeisenBug.  Joy.
