| How much memory does your machine have, and is the memory reported in
| `real mem =' altered by the setting of the BIOS flag?

	turns out that the amount of memory reported doesn't change at
	at all---it always reports like 16mb of memory, and some amount
	just over 14mb of available memory [14.449mb]... didn't change
	for the two boots with the bios shadowing disabled.
