Hi All !

Again some questions concerning the upgrade from 0.9 to current. U gave it
another try last week with the tar files from 01/17. As my time is limited
I need almost the whole week to compile link all the stuff. Everything
builds nicely, that is I can `make && make install` for each and every dir in
the tree. When I build a new kernel it builds as well, when I boot it, it
crashes immediately after displaying the size info. I haven't installed the new
boot blocks yet, are they required ?
I have installed almost evrything from current , but I am still using a plain
vanilla 0.9 kernel. Will I get troubles ?

I have some reboots now and then (between 5 minutes and an hour uptime) with
vm_faults type c code 2 ?!??!?

Is there a way to debugg a kernel (except using -d in the boot line, that
doesn't work) ?

Any hints appreciated.

	Regards
		Werner Kuehnert
