It works with *BSD, but not as an SCSI controller.

You have to use the DOS setup program for the controller and set it up as an 
IDE/ESDI look-alike.  This gives it a basic functionality, but does not 
really give you the full range of features that a SCSI controller would 
afford.

Also, Julian Elischer has written the Ultrastore 24F controller interface, 
but doesn't have a guinea pig to try it out on.

The last I heard, the UltraStor 24F does NOT work with ***BSD.  It works
with the 14F and the 34F.
