The next release will have 3c509 driver. At the moment it performs
pretty good, but a few bugs are being ironed out.
It was written by Herb Peyerl <hpeyerl@novatel.ca> -- someone who
also wrote the original 3c503 driver. If you beg, plead, and provide
hardware he might even be convinced to write drivers for other
cards... right Herb? B-)
