I rebuilt the kernel last night, and rebuilt ps twice.

I am getting almost exactly the same error.  If it is a change, it must be 
VERY recent.  What is the possibility that it is something in one of the 
machince .h files?  I am in the process of getting ready to completely
rebuild the entire system, just to see if there is something in one of 
the libraries  that is out of date.
