Yes, I mentioned this a week ago. If I try to build *static* X applications,
they all bomb out with the 'unable to open display' error. Creating them
with the shared X libraries solves it for some applications. So far, I haven't
heard of any fix... can anyone give an authoritative answer on this subject
and even if the new sources solve this problem?
