I ftped the shared libraries that some kind fellow (I forget your name,
but thanks a lot!) created and all the standard XFree86-2.0 applications
work fine. But recently, I've tried to port aXe-5.1 and an in-house
application. Both bombed out with the same error:

Error: Unresolved inheritance operation

Is this a problem in general with shared X libraries or is it a current
problem with the NetBSD shared libraries?
