umm, my cut on this:

if you want to use this stuff, i suggest taking a look, and a start,
from the bsdi soundblaster driver found on ftp.ee.lbl.gov.

i'd really like this stuff to follow the "bsd interface" for sound
drivers (and there's one, though i'm not sure how well defined it is),
rather than being a random aggregation.


when they work with an unmodified VAT, i'll be happy.  8-)
