updates of ~ftp/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-current on lamp had been delayed
(yeah, they actually would have made it out if i hadn't killed them...
*chuckle*) by some stray lockfiles in our CVS tree.

this has been fixed and i'm running a CVS update right now, to get
y'all the latest sources immediately.  8-)

additionally, i've implemented something which will keep me informed
when this happens in the future...
