Where is the config file that contains info about device numbers etc. I want
to look at (and modify) the device numbers for my SCSI tape unit to select
the correct density (Archive viper 150, with DC6250 (250M) tapes).

PS what exactly should these be? (FAQ says minor = 4?)

What are the other files important to tape setup.

Thanks for the help, I have looked in the FAQ and it is assuming knowledge
that I don't have when it comes to devices.
