Michael,
Thank you for your reply.
I went and installed NetBSD1.1 on my Amiga, but the problem didn't go
away. I found that I even get it when I copy (untar) files that are
only about 1M.

My machine is an A3000 16/2M 25MHz rev 8 SCSI chip rev 9/03
Motherboard, one Quantum LP105S drive (address 4) one Quantum Capella
drive (2.2G) (addres 6, connected to the external SCSI port) Both
drives are terminated (ie one internal, one external).

This is what I got today (all in the same location)

Dec 12 23:02:41 atze /netbsd: sd1(ahsc0:6:0): command aborted, info = 388255 (decimal), da
ta = 00 00 00 00 47 00 00 00 00 00
Dec 12 23:03:49 atze /netbsd: sd1(ahsc0:6:0): command aborted, info = 388255 (decimal), da
ta = 00 00 00 00 47 00 00 00 00 11
Dec 12 23:05:12 atze /netbsd: sd1(ahsc0:6:0): command aborted, info = 388255 (decimal), da
ta = 00 00 00 00 47 00 00 00 00 00

Thank you for any more help.

Arthur.
