Yes ha have a similar problem with the Xaw3d widget set in scrolled list.
the text is rendered ober a black bar. In order to see it, I have to fix
another color. So a scrolled list item is composed like this:
the item rectangular part (in grey) a black rectangle inside which is
surrounding
the text (redered by default in black).

I thaught that it was a problem when compiling Xaw3d, but it seems that it's
not.

Strange bug!
