yesterday I experienced something similar. I tried to replace
.../bin-dist/1.0/netbsd (worx fine on my system, A2000, 6MB, GVP, Seagate80,
Syquest 88, Quantum 52) by 950702/netbsd.GENERIC.
'loadbsd netbsd.GENERIC' on my amiga ended with a hangup in the system
startup process. The old Seagate (SCSI ID 0,sd0) is recognized but the
boot process hangs up before the Syquest (SCSI ID 1,sd1) information
is displayed, the Syquest (where my root and swap fs are located) LED
is on and nothing else happens. I have to CTRL-AMIGA-AMIGA...

No problems with the old kernel so far so I'm wondering what has to be
changed that I can use later kernels...

    please help!

        Tobias
