Karl Stenerud reports the vm_init() problem and adds:

What are the configurations that other people who are seeing the problem
have?  I also have an A3000/25 (w/ 16/2 MB) and a retina Z3 and have been
seeing the problems on both the June and July snapshots.  Alas, I have
not yet had the time to take the Retina out to see whether it makes the
difference.  (My machine also has an Emplant in it, BTW)
