No I haven't tried that yet because I hope that there is
be another way to solve this... Moving those chips is
anything but fun.
But if NetBSD really uses burst mode why it doesn't work
when I force loadbsd to only use my Static Column memory
(1st 4 megs) by using -m option?
By the way, I can get that white screen (it's the screen that
comes after loadbsd has been started; after that should that
NetBSD screen appear) also when Kickstart has been loaded
in memory earlier and I boot to that KS switcher (with
ROMboot util if I remember right) and then try to loadbsd
using KS 1.4beta. I hope the someone got that...
