Thanks to EVERYONE -
I've now understood why the NetBSD/Amiga distributions are in ca. 880 kB
chunks - as the A3000 concerned is not on the net, I will have to copy 
the files onto IBM HD floppies - he will have to buy himself a HD drive 
and read the chunks onto his AmigaDOS partition - the option of splitting 
the distribution files into two parts and joining them together seems a little 
extreme.
