I just compiled the latest -current kernel (May 24), and found it messed
up the 'ps' command.
For example:
picabo% ps auw
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TT STAT STARTED TIME COMMAND
thieleke 97 0.0 0.0 384 680 e0 IWs 9:55PM 0:02.75
\r\M^?\M^?t (tcsh)
thieleke 99 0.0 0.0 232 456 e0 IW+ 9:55PM 0:01.02
\r\M^?\M-~\M^H (screen)
thieleke 101 0.0 0.0 472 856 p0 IWs 9:55PM 0:02.09
\r\M^?\M-{\M^D (tcsh)
root 115 0.0 11.3 456 824 p0 S 9:58PM 0:02.81
\r\M^?\M-{\M^T (tcsh)
root 1349 0.0 0.4 48 16 p0 I 10:08PM 0:00.02
\r\M^?\M-{p\r\M^?\M-{y\r\M^?\M-{|\r\M^?\M-{\M^B\r\M^?\M-{\M^E \r\M^
root 1360 0.0 3.3 288 232 p0 R+ 10:11PM 0:00.09
\r\M^?\M-{\M^H \^B\M-@ (ps)
All of those \r's and \M's are actually what I see, not a typo.
When using my previous kernal (May 2-ish) and the same setup, everything
is fine.
Any clues on what is going wrong, or should I just be happy with my old
kernel?
