I'm attempting to set up a slip connection with AmiTCP 4.0 to my
NetBSD box, and not having much success. Has anyone else managed to
accomplish this? I'm not sure if things are set up wrong on the Amiga
or the NetBSD side.

The two machines are connected with a null-modem cable over the serial
ports. The cable has been tested, and the connection does work.

I set up AmiTCP 4.0 with the appropriate information, and I've tried
everything I can think of on the NetBSD side.

tty00 is commented in /etc/ttys
I do:
	'slattach -s 9600 /dev/tty00'
	'ifconfig sl0 inet 130.215.242.22 -arp -trailer 130.215.242.64'
	'route add 130.215.242.64 -interface 130.215.242.22'

where 130.215.242.22 is my NetBSD box, and 130.215.242.64 is the
Amiga. I really have no idea how you're supposed to set SLIP on on a
unix machine, so if anyone wants to help, I'd appreciate it.

netstat -i shows sl0 having an Mtu of 296, which I didn't think was a
legal value, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to
change it.

Thanks...
