Hello!
Me (again); Thanks to all the people who replied to my last missive
about the libraries for Xv & the like, I had too many responses to reply
individually, but all your help was much appreciated.
X etc. all works perfectly (I am using X11r6 now over a 14k4 modem ;-)
but I really ould be greateful if someone could point me in the direction
of the non-contiguous memory patches (compiling the kernel is no problem,
even with only 4mb available!), since X11 is painfully swapping :*)
Also, b4 I go, can I suggest a small change to the Networking-FAQ
(an excellent document :*), mine is dated 15 May 94, so it may already have
been changed - but basically, it suggest using Kermit to dial up etc.,
but kermit wouldn't appear to be in the basic distribution sets, so it
might be an idea to note that & point out where it can be found (I compiled
the FreeBSD version in the end).
Cheers, and congratulations...
