ok.. disregard my early post.. as usual I wrote too quickly, just
after I sent that out I found that the computer IS smarter than I am..
something I always thought, but never could prove.  Just typing
configure with no arguments did the trick and now its off and
runnning!!


thanks for all you people who do have a clue and set these things up
for us slightly less fortunate :)
