Situation is this:

NFS exporting is ok. The other computer can mount and see directories and files.
However, if you try to inspect a file at all you get basically nothing. What I
was getting was a bunch of null characters.

/etc/exports is standard. Mountd, nfsd, nfsiod etal are running. I recompiled
all the binaries today. Kernel was built Aug. 18th... Do I need to recompile 
the kernel??
