Yes, that's what I feared. It seems to be connected with my other problem
that also nobody else seems to have. Namely - when I boot NetBSD the first
time after the machine was turned off for some time, I only get a blank
screen (colored blue as it should be). Then I have to start gfxtest a couple
of times (usually only once) to get characters displayed. After that I
can reboot as much as I want and everything is allright until I shut
off the machine again for a longer time. I really don't know what could
be causing this... It is worsened if I decrease the delay()'s in grf_cl.c
so it is somehow connected with this.

I was told by Bernd Ernestti on IRC that I should open an Xconsole and
this will fix my problem. He said the problem is being caused by the
text console trying to display something and thus screwing up the display.
I haven't tried it yet, but I will report if it helps. Maybe you should
try it, too.
