XFree86 had a neat feature: you could set up a 1024x1024 virtual screen
which was scrolled within the 640x480 physical screen size. The scrolling
was smooth, obviously done by changing the start of the frame buffer
in the VGA registers.

Something similar can be done on the Amiga, esp. with 2 MB of Chip RAM.
Anyone up to the task?
