Tried Xdaniver today - amazing tool! Just some snickers:

 It seems it does not correctly deal with cw-backingstore, i had some
problems with programms which do not refresh their window themself but asks
the server to store their window-contents - this fails.

 Colorhandling is not correct.  I run fvwm with pager and sometimes
programs use colors which are present, but as the programs are not visible
they should not interfere anywhere - alas i see flickers of colors on the
visible part of the virtual screen even though the program isn't.

 Speed is fantastic for Amiga-native-graphics.  It is by far faster than
DaggeX ever was - in color!

 Has anyone tried the server with -grey on an A2024 (on 1008x1008x2) yet?
Does it work correctly?

 The .readme should mention that you either need to open /dev/kbd and
/dev/mouse?  or set Xdaniver suid (with root as owner).
