I have this problem with my Q52LPS. I get timeout in async. mode. SO
must run it in sync mode (inhibit_sync clear).

But my Fujitsu 520 works fine in async mode. (I must run it in
async mode (inhibit_sync set) as it is jumpered in async. mode).
