After much experimentation last night I discovered the keyboard
spewing garbage after doing a continue from ddb was apparently
due to a stuck state in the keyboard driver involving the left
Amiga-Alt combo. But holding down the same combination it appeared
to bring the keyboard back to reality. The keyboard hackers might
want to take a look at this to see if the ddb code doesn't clear
some keyboard state like it's supposed to.

A symbolic kernel debugger is your friend!!! Every kiddie should
have one! Nice how the key sequences are similar to gdb! Only
oinks 80k for the symbols too.
