I recently tried to get the new sources from doing
a 'get sys.tar.Z' in the source archive there.
(does this tar-file include all softlinks and protections?)

It looks like some significant files are missing there, for example
i couldn't run a (succesfull) 'config GENERIC' because the
/usr/src/conf/files and /usr/src/arch/amiga/conf/files.amiga and the
makefile were missing (or had length of 0).

I tried to use the old files i had from a (very) old distribution,
but then the compiler failed on the first 'make depend' already yields
/usr/lib/crt0.o: Undefined symbol _main referenced from text segment
for the file genassym.c (first file ever referenced in Makefile).

 Any clues?
